<br>
Thanks, that's interesting!<br>
<br>
One of my ideas is, if we have some well known/used vocabularies
and these are used in the data, you could develop functionality in
libraries on top of that. For example, if parsing geojson for a
mapping application and you stumble upon a property dcterms:title
for a feature, you could directly use that as a header in a popup
for example. No need for configuration or what so ever. Adding
context to GeoJSON data could be very helpful for rapidly creating
applications, I think. This is one of the reasons why I'm
interested. And JSON-LD seems quite simple to use, without
breaking existing applications. <br>

So happy to hear more and will certainly post any results.<br>

best regards,<br>

I've been experimenting with JSON-LD and GeoJSON since last
spring and blogged about it recently: <a

<br>
Recently the W3C pulished the JSON-LD recommendation, <a
moz-do-not-send="true"
href="http://www.w3.org/TR/json-ld/" target="_blank">http://www.w3.org/TR/json-ld/</a>,
for Linked Data.<br>
<br>
In the Netherlands Linked Data gets quite some attention
recently, also in the geospatial domain. And many
(geospatial) developers really like GeoJSON. My impression
is that JSON-LD could be used quite well in conjunction with
existing data in JSON, and therefore GeoJSON. I'll be
experimenting with the combination.<br>
<br>
Therefore I was looking for some already existing examples
and experiments on JSON-LD and GeoJSON. I found this nice
example: <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://github.com/sfsheath/roman-amphitheaters/blob/master/roman-amphitheaters.geojson"
target="_blank">https://github.com/sfsheath/roman-amphitheaters/blob/master/roman-amphitheaters.geojson</a>
<br>
Does anybody know of other examples? And/or has some
experiences or ideas to share?<br>
<br>
Thanks in advance!<br>
<br>
Best regards,<br>
Thijs<br>
