[GeoJSON] May a GeoJSON geometry object contain foreign members?

Hi all,

I hope it's the right place to ask this question, if not, let me know
where else.

May a GeoJSON geometry object contain a foreign member? The current
draft only talks about foreign members of a "GeoJSON document", so does
it only apply to the top-level, or also to sub-levels like the GeoJSON
geometry object?

The reason I'm asking is, that I'm using a "bbox" member within the
geometry object for years in GeoCouch. I just found out now that "bbox"
is supposed to be at the feature object level.
