[GeoJSON] Status of empty geometry

Hi,

The current GeoJSON 1.0 does not specify anything regarding empty
geometries representation.
Does it mean there is no notion of empty?

There has been a thread [1] related to this topic but it didn't conclude
with any decisions,  AFAIK.

What's the status of empty geometry?
